  In those narcissistic, cruel letters he wrote to Dijana, when quoting her objection to him driving off to pick up hookers in the family car, he styled doing so as "Self Care days"

  I have it on good authority that the woman mentioned in that letter (Zrinka from Rijeka) was NOT a sex worker. Lloyd was on a tonne of dating apps (he referred to being on one in the letter when Dijana caught him scrolling) and this was a prospective girlfriend he had been hitting up online that he wanted to start seeing. Evidently as part of her initial agreement to an open marriage Dijana was under the impression he’d carry on his affairs away from home (Rijeka is 212 km from Sisak). He didn’t like to be dictated to, which is why he responded “I’m not driving to fucking Rijeka”.

  So much for the “I didn’t seek any relationships” he claimed on the livestream. He most definitely was seeking them and they are referred to right there in the letter to Dijana.

  Now I don’t imagine the relationships going anywhere being that he was married with two young daughters and looked like Jabba the Hutt. He must have used a heavily doctored pic and lied about his marital status.

  I wonder if the clips of his comedy routine that he does not show are blistering attacks directed at her through the topic of marriage.

  There was a segment that wasn't necessarily directed at her, but it was him complaining that women were cutting him off after one date and leaving it ambiguous about a second one.

  I have an answer for him - they probably googled you when they got home, Lloyd.

  I do detect a jaded attitude towards dating and women though. What makes it all the more tragic is that he had a wife who was loyal and put up with a lot of his controlling nature. He imploded that relationship and now cannot find anyone who is willing to put up with a fraction of what he dished out to her and finds it frustrating and beneath himself to go through all this effort only for a first date.

  He built up the stakes so high that he cannot afford to lose, but it's a lawsuit he cannot possibly win

  As has been mentioned before many times in this thread, he never thinks things through long term and acts on impulse (often pure and unadulterated anger). He went on the livestream thinking it was the silver bullet, only to discover he had shot himself in the foot. Same with the Andrew Gold interview, the threatening letter he posted to Kim, etc. He never thought this lawsuit through. In the rush of emotions he was feeling after the livestream and the Patron freefall, he wanted to strike and strike hard. Not only for himself, but to make a show for his supporters regarding his innocence. I believe he has slowly come to the realisation that it was a strategic miscalculation. He has lost most of his interest in it and probably sought out legal advice as to how long he could delay.

  Would be a perfect time for Novosel to withdraw as counsel, especially as they know quite well their client is purposely avoiding service of papers.

  I tend to agree. The path of least resistance seems to be her way…. But I wouldn’t discount a falling out of some kind. He never mentions her anymore - either by name or by implication. And it all happened sometime last summer as she was quietly removed as “producer” months before him and Tibor split. It was also round this time that he started writing songs about “falling out of love” and “fresh out of fucks to give”.

  I’m sure he thinks it’s perfectly ok and is quite happy for time to pass so the next generation of exjw’s can come along and with complete ignorance get swept up just like I did.

  This lawsuit is going to be Lloyd’s 1975. It works for him as long as there still is hope that his predictions of legal vindication are still theoretically possible, albeit extremely unlikely.

  When the date does pass and the documents are presented to prove he was dead wrong about the case, he’ll spin it as if his haters were legally harassing HIM, and THEIR lawsuit was the one that was dismissed. His deletion of his Twitter account also works for him since most of his threats were uttered from that platform.

  That HAS to be Dijana returning it… Had she just handed the post to Lloyd when he dropped the girls off, there would be no issue at all, right? “Returned mail” would require her sending it back as undeliverable to the recipient.

  Maybe I am reading too much into it, but I see one of three possibilities:

  1. She is returning the court’s post because she wants nothing to do with THE CASE, including her supposed deposition.
  2. Her relationship with her ex has deteriorated to the point where she wants absolutely nothing to do with LLOYD and is not doing him any favours anymore.
  3. Lloyd has instructed her to return all court correspondence as undeliverable in order to delay the hearings.

  He was never a CSA or DV victim so he's not reliving all that past trauma like he wants people to believe

  Jabba the Hutt has had one of the softest landings outside the cult as could be imagined considering the fact he went hard apostate and has made no attempt to conceal it. Ray Franz wrote of getting sunburnt and stung by wasps whilst labouring in the hot and humid Alabama summer after he moved out of Bethel. Many others have recalled harassment by elders, family members - even their own children, getting sacked by their JW employers and cast out of everything.

  He was universally celebrated and his first child that they could not afford was well cared for by gifts and monetary donations. He monetised this and immediately started setting up his business empire that eventually got so out of hand that him and his entire family were flown to Australia for the week, ostensibly so Lloyd could interview people for the TTATT project. Last autumn he even admitted to skipping a rather important interview so he could take his family to the Sydney Zoo!

  As for the loss of his family, he made no secret of his disdain for them in his book. His Dad was chronically unemployed and worthless as a man, husband and father, and his sister had mental and emotional issues. His wife followed him out of the cult, birthed him two children, took his bullshit and swallowed it up whole for an entire decade.She even desired sex from him, even though his body weight was constantly ballooning and regularly looked like he had slept on a park bench.
  

  What the fuck is he complaining about? His wife did not leave him - he left her and set forth conditions that she was to accept if the marriage was to continue. All of this supposed "self-care" is all stemming out of his own bad decisions that had nothing to do with the JWs. Even after the huge loss of support - down 60% - he still is making enough to live a bachelor's lifestyle in Zagreb all for doing nothing more than acting like a total creep and putting out as little content as possible in order to keep the illusion going that he's hard at work.

  I wouldn’t worry about it - that place comes as advertised - a street food place with outdoor seating. Even more disturbing is this lonely man treating himself to a dye job and a beer on a Friday afternoon on his lonesome.

  And calling it “self-care”. Keep telling everyone they’re jealous of you, Lloyd. Those bags under your eyes are only going to get worse.

  The t-shirt sales are yet another attempt to wring as much as he can out of people already supporting him.
  

  A healthy and growing channel would not need to branch out laterally like this and should rely on an ever-increasing base of support. As he now finds himself in neutral, it’s clear he’s reduced to pet monkey tricks to fill the tip jar.

  As those lyrics that guy wrote for “Lloyd Evans in Thailand” go:

  Why would a real departed ex-Dub or anyone else for that matter want to wear one?

  He’s like one of those inner-city politicians who preys on the poor and claims he’s their advocate, whilst making his entire fortune off of it.

  These unscrupulous politicians need to remind the people they are in poverty and that they are their champion so as to keep themselves relevant and employed.

  Likewise Lloyd needs to keep exJWs in a constant state of reminder of a traumatic period in their lives so they can keep going to him for “treatment”. ExJWs moving on is not in his financial interest and never was.

  It’s a sick and disgusting cycle for an equally disgusting man. Imagine a substance abuse counsellor selling t-shirts poking fun at the circumstances behind drug/alcohol abuse.

  A t-shirt with a Jack Daniel’s logo with a red X through it. Another with the visuals of a needle and a bottle of pills.

  Now he’s extolling the euphoria behind drug use to already vulnerable people who are conditioned to believe anything they hear.

  All while collecting their donations. Sick, isn’t it?
